Survai Internasional Most Wanted 160m DXCC, 2011

Garry, NI6T dan Larry K8UT hari ini merilis survai internasional most wanted 160m DXCC, 2011, yang dilontarkan oleh mereka di awal musim panas 2011.

Gary termasuk operator 160m yang paling awal saya jumpai di udara

Dalam penjelasannya di milis Topband Reflector, Garry menulis bahwa 257 partisipan telah menjawab dan mengirimkan data sehingga bisa dihimpun dan disimpulkan. Hampir sebagian besar responden adalah para operator dari benua NA dan EU.Tak ada  dari JA -- yang akan mereka survai secara khusus tahun depan. "Dari statistik ternyata partisipan survai dari SA, AF dan Asia jumlahya tidak signifikan", demikian tulis Garry.


Menarik untuk disimak bahwa survai peringkat most wanted 160m tsb dibagi atas dua kategori, yaitu by continent dan by prefix rank. Kategori yang disebut terakhir mengacu langsung kepada entitas DXCC.

Dari daftar 340 buah prefiks, posisi YB/YC-Indonesia ada pada posisi ke-144 bagi operator dari NA. Diminati oleh 97 responden (38%). Peringkat minat tertinggi ada pada BSH7-Scarborough Reef (94%). Terendah (0%) adalah terhadap VE-Kanada, V3-Belize dan KH6-Hawaii.

As you may already knew, only few ops in YB/YC-land had qrv on 160m but I will keep doing the campaign  for new Orari members about the challenge on this gentlemen's band. 

It'd be good if they all got the topband disease :-))

Next year, I hope to have more input from Asia, Africa and South America.
