YC0LOW Terdengar di YV-land pada Top Band, Minggu, July 29, 2007 10:00 AM

Terasa istimewa bila bukan biasa. Tentu saja demikian.

Pagi ini sekitar 0500 WIB top band (160m) relatif tenang bila dibandingkan dengan kondisinya pada saat Sun Set yang penuh dengan static noise. Saya memanggil CQ DX pada 1821.5 KHz, namun menyadari dari DX Cluster bahwa pada 1821.8 ada 5R8GU, maka saya bergeser ke 1820.7. Daya pancar 100 Watts dan antena masih inverted-L yang lama. Beberapa stasiun memanggil saya namun tak jelas siapa. Saya coba menggunakan antena RX pun tidak berhasil mendeteksi callsign mereka.

Pada Top Band Chat, muncul Paul, YV1DIG. dia menyapa saya dan di bawah ini adalah petikan korespondensi kami berdua (dibaca dari baris bawah ke atas):

Walau gembira mendengar bahwa dia dapat menerima sinyal saya, namun disayangkan saya tidak bisa mendengar sinyalnya untuk menambah koleksi sebuah negara DXCC baru.

Sebelum melakukan chatting dengan Paul, YV1DIG, saya berhasil ber-QSO dengan: SM6DJZ (2237Z), SM0MDG (2239Z), dan OZ1LXJ (2253Z). Hingga sun rise selesai, pada 1817 KHZ terdengar YD0NWO memanggil DX.

       Top band bertingkah seperti cagub DKI berkampanye. Banyak memberi janji-janji
